Independent Spirit Awards 2019: Indicados são revelados

Na última sexta-feira, dia 16, as atrizes Gemma Chan e Molly Shannon anunciaram no W Hollywood Hotel, em Los Angeles (Califórnia), os indicados ao Independent Spirit Awards 2019. E o líder de indicações deste ano é o drama “Nós, os Animais” (We the Animals – 2018).

Dirigido por Jeremiah Zagar, o longa concorre a cinco categorias: filme, fotografia, edição, ator coadjuvante para Raúl Castillo e Someone to Watch Award para o cineasta. Nesta última categoria, o diretor tem como concorrente o brasileiro Alex Moratto  responsável pelo longa “Sócrates” (2018), filme que recebeu outras duas indicações: John Cassavetes Award, concedido a produções de orçamento inferior a US$ 500 mil, e ator para Christian Malheiros.

A 34° edição da cerimônia da premiação será realizada dia 23 de Fevereiro, as vésperas do Oscar no Pier de Santa Mônica, em Los Angeles. Veja a lista dos principais indicados abaixo.
